When and how did you start surfing?

Probably 10 years ago, I got into surfing from watching surf films and having my older brother Tyler introduce me to it. But didn't start actually surfing until I was a little older, growing up in Washington held me back! Haha, it's cold.

Who are the surfers that inspire you?

John John Florence, Kai Lenny, Lucas Chianca, Kelly Slater, Dane Reynolds, Albee layer.

Where are your favorite surf spots that you've been to?

Huntington Beach Northside Pier and some spots in Santa Cruz.

Where are the surf spots you want to visit in the future that you've never been to?

Bali and Fiji

Which type of surfboards and fin setups are you into?

Anything from a shortboard thruster to a mid-length fish (twin fin or quad).

Which one video would you highlight in this playlist and why?

“Pipeline December 2nd”, I think this was one of the better videos I've made, film, music, how it flowed together. It's one I enjoy watching over again. It also helped that I got to use some amazing footage from Tomo McPherson, Peter King, and Marc Chambers to make the edit what it was.

What's your favorite focal length?

Depends on what I'm shooting, close range stuff 24mm. Long range depending on the angle 500mm.

When and how did you start filming?

I was surfing out at Huntington Beach, and I saw a blue and red board and someone doing an air reverse. I thought to myself … "is that Kai Lenny? What the hell is he doing here? I thought he was in Nazare yesterday" Then saw Kai paddle past me and thought "what the hell am I doing out here? I should probably film this!" So caught a wave in and grabbed the drone I had and filmed kai and made an edit of it. Which he later posted. And that got me hooked and the swell chase began. So all thanks to Kai Lenny! Haha
