Where were you born and raised?

Born in Bilbao and raised in Getxo, Basque Country.

What do you like about where you live now?

I love family and friends. My dog. Culture, food, and green in Mundaka.

When and how did you start surfing?

The first skate park in the Basque Country was built right before my place. The beach was in front of the skatepark, so every kid started skating and surfing. My older brothers started surfing and they were super talented. I started following their path when I was 6.

Where is your go-to surf spot?

Mundaka every time it breaks.

Please tell us about the surfboard you usually ride. Brand, shaper, dimensions, fin setup, etc.

Pukas 5'6 called "The Acid Plan" shaped by Axel Laurentz. Twin fin. Channels and rounded tail. Love it.

Where are your favorite surf spots that you've been to?

Namibia is the best wave I have ever surfed. Blows your mind. There is nothing to compare.

Where are the surf spots you want to visit in the future that you've never been to?

I would love to explore most of the coast of Africa. Very focused on Madagascar today.

Hard one. Maneuver in a refracted wave.

"We Scream Alone". A video that I did with my dear friend Natxo González. Brings me great memories. Nothing is better than surfing great alone and sharing them with your friend.

Gerry Lopez, Tom Curren

What are the surf films/videos that inspire you?

"Morning of the Earth". As it spreads the pure export of surf exploration, it was very inspiring to follow my own path.

Other than surfing, what are you passionate about?

"Into the Wild" is the book and the movie both.

Music, films, books, cooking, and knowing new people.

Bob Marley. Also, Bon Iver. Right now, I discovered RYX.
